For today’s column, I am featuring a colleague of mine, Todd E. Jones (The New Jeru Poet). For years, he has been a talented and valuable contributor at MVRemix Media. I am introducing him to you, the readers of this column, as he will be writing some guest features on MVExposé in the very near future.

For over a decade, Todd is a true writer at heart with an extensive list of prominent musicians such as Kool G Rap, Common, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Atmosphere, Slum Village, Gangstarr, Lyrics Born, Del Tha Funkee Homosapian, J-Zone, The Pharcyde, and much more. His interviews, articles and reviews can be found in magazines like the Source Blog, Insomniac Magazine, Music Remedy, Hip Hop Element, and Urban Connectionz. Todd also has over two hundred articles on MVRemix.

Other than music journalism and writing, Todd can be found creating music and film and has a diverse history as a DJ and Promotions Director in New Jersey. He is also a member of the Enkephalins, a musical band based in Edison, NJ. With his distinguished background in music and his love for hip-hop, his writing experience will bring a new element to MVExposé.
